This Stops Most People From BIG Success

Many “experts” make success sound so hard. They name their success methods to seem exclusive. They sometimes use fancy psychological terms. Don’t let them fool you. Success is easier than you realize.

Einstein said, “If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.”

Success comes down to 3 main core factors to achieve any goal or dream.

It doesn’t matter if you want be a millionaire, run a successful company, lose weight, have 6-pack abs, be an amazing parent, a c-level executive, or a thriving and wealthy artist or spiritual coach.

Master these 3 core principles, you will reach any level of success, money or happiness that you desire.

Core Principle #1
As obvious as this may sound, it is not so obvious since shockingly few people do this properly.

Many people make the mistake of having vague goals, or no real goals at all. They meander from idea to idea but don’t understand why they are not achieving anything particularly good.

Great goals are achieved by choosing a clear target and destination.

✅ What goals looks like: BAD TO BEST!

Bad: I should lose weight.
Better: Lose 20 pounds.
Good: I will lose 20 pounds by Christmas.
Excellent: I will lose 20 pounds in 4 months by Christmas 2024.
Best: I will lose 20 pounds in 4 months (December 25, 2024) by reducing meal sizes, replacing fatty and sugar foods with healthy foods, and exercising for 30 minutes every day. I will track my progress daily in a journal.

The reason that this is the best is because it not only defines the target, but also the daily actions that will get you there. This way you can focus on the daily actions which makes the goal easily attainable. Meaning that a clear target is not just “to lose 20 pounds” but to be specific about what actions will happen each day. And you are tracking your daily progress.

This makes the goal inevitable because you are doing the daily action steps that will guarantee that it happens.

Success is doing the right things every day to achieve a specific result.
Failure is doing the wrong things every day and getting the wrong result.

Core Principle #2
If you are doing the core principle #1 correctly, this one will happen in alignment. That said, you’ll achieve your big goals faster when you emphasize and put focus into this principle.

Consistent Purposeful Focused Action that moves you closer to your goal every day.

Let me share an every day example. I see people in the gym all the time that never get better. Why? They’re showing up, right? Taking action, right? Because, they are going through the motions without the intention for improvement. This is why you need to be purposeful in your actions.

Or they disappear for weeks or months at a time and lose any gains that they might have earned. In other words, they are not consistent all the time.

Consistent purposeful focused action will make the difference between being fat and fit. Broke and rich. Unhappy or happy. Struggling or successful.

Consistency is the hardest thing for many people. It’s easy to get started. It’s uncommon to stick it until successful.

When it gets hard, it is easy to do something else that is more fun and easier. When it is boring or you are bored of it, it is so much easier to go do something new that feels more interesting. When it is seems like your not making any progress or you have plateaued, it is easy to move on to something new.

Sticking something out when it gets hard, boring, or progress has slowed, is the most important thing you can do to get the success, money, and happiness that you want.

Consistency is not easy in our attention-deficit-endorphin-addicted world that we live in. Getting lost in doom scrolling on social media or binging a Netflix series is so much easier that going to the gym, working on your side hustle, or spending tech free quality time with those you love.

Scrolling Instagram, binge watching a movie series, or eating fatty bad food, will never help you get the success you want.

More importantly, it will keep you from the feeling of accomplishing something that gives you a strong sense of self-satisfaction.

Consistent purposeful focused action towards your goals will give you more meaning, satisfaction, and purpose than anything else. And you’ll achieve bigger goals than you thought possible.

Core Principle #3
This one will sabotage your success and most don’t realize how dangerous this is, and how important it is to master this principle.

Be stronger than your doubts and the cynics.

We know that we can accomplish amazing things, and yet we all doubt how much we can accomplish. It’s a weird mind and emotion self-programming-conflict that we all have.

This is why many don’t try to achieve their big goals, and why many will succeed for a while and then sabotage their own success.

It is because of this self-programming-conflict is why we don’t get started. Why we take our foot off the accelerator when we are succeeding. It is why we get lazy. It is why binge eat after weeks of healthy eating and going to the gym. Why we going on a spending spree with the tax refund instead of using it to to pay off debt or build real wealth.

We all have our own version of this conflict. It’s the part of you that says “Yes, I deserve that (insert your goal or dream). But yet, we go and do something that blows it up.

For an example, how many people have you seen that was in a great relationship with someone and then breaks up to go date a idiot? This has been the plot of many novels and movies.

We do this because we fear success more than we fear failure. We subconsciously fear that we will mess it up or not be able to handle it. So we sabotage our success.

It doesn’t make sense on the surface. But it makes total sense when you look deep into the reasons you mess up your life. Don’t worry, we all do this sometimes.

How to break through …
First: Recognize that this is likely to happen.

Next: Stay the course when your self-doubts or self-sabotage want to derail you. This means pushing through the fear, the resistance, and the procrastination.

You’ll recognize it happening. You’ll want to start something new. Or do something stupid that will ruin things. You’ll want to procrastinate on silly things and totally change directions just when success starts to build momentum.

We do this because we are moving into an area of the unknown. Something that is a little (or a lot) out of comfort zone. Maybe we are just unsure if we can succeed. That will stop us from going forward.

Most of the time it is not a BIG fear, but just some small fears. It creates just enough resistance to keep us from pushing though. It creates just enough resistance that we pause, stop, or change direction.

This is ultimately cause by our own previous experience with failures. Even more often it is cause by what others have said to us in the past, or what they MAY say to us. Others will tell you that it is not possible for you, offer negative disapproving comments about your idea, goal or dream.

How to handle this …
First is to be aware that you are going have your own doubts, fears, and resistance. Know that others will sow seeds of doubt or show disappointment and disapproval.

When you realize that these are happening, say to yourself with gratitude, “That’s an interesting view point. Thank you for sharing. But this is my goal and I am excited to make it a reality.” The get back to focused, purposeful work and prove them wrong, and prove your own self-doubts wrong.

When you are focused, purposeful and take consistent action, you will build proof that you are true to your goals and dreams. As this proof builds, you will also build more self-confidence and momentum. This will lead to more progress and more successful.

Then one day, you are have accomplished that amazing goal and transformed your life.

What will it be like when you lose weight, pay off debt, make more money on your side-business that your day job, or some other big goal? It will be amazing, won’t it?

To your amazing success,
Croix
